My remote viewing session predicting the winner of a webinar horse race this weekend can be seen @ www.arv4fun.com  I just
could not dispell the memory of a particular previous photosite from my mind, so I sketched with my eyes shut. I've not found closing my eye's partcularly useful in CRV, so I was quite surprised that it worked so well in ARV (8 choice in this case)  ARV is fascinating fun and profitable too!

Hey, well done Loraine, I saw that.  Cheesy

That looks really interesting, though I haven't had a chance to look very closely. Have you placed any bets?

Hi Glyn

Yes, I do usually place bets, if the races (US) are listed at Betfair (UK site) At the outset, being new to ARV I assumed betting would help focus my intention and could possibly even be necessary for success. So, I have been placing small bets on my own individual predictions and any sequential analysis group predictions (though the latter are very rare due to insufficient numbers of participating viewers in the project - a free UK PRECOG10 Webinar with Marty Rosenblatt soon btw - if anyone interested lets me know their general eve/weekend availabilty we will try to factor it in to our planning)

Over 60 races, my ROI is 260%, but that doesn't mean much, because I've forgotten to bet on what turned out to be correct predictions on occasion (so it seems betting is not actually necessary for intention RVwise) More meaningful (and pleasing) to me is having cummulative stats of above random chance on 1st, 2nd and 3rd place horses, and this despite the fact that I'm crap at analysis (so tedious/rational - not my bag) and regularly fail to judge my sessions properly so have clocked up a fair few misses that really were actually hits. The assessment of the session against up to 14 possibities, is the real challenge for me, the RV part of ARV is a breeze in comparison (now that I'm getting used to  photosites instead of worded targets - which was my first major hurdle) Funny to think that it's RV that has finally given me an incentive to acquire systematic ways of thinking after shunning such for all this time.

Hi Loraine,

You really have had some good results, that's great. I agree that analysis can be a pitfallfor precog targets.Associations can sometimes be so oblique that they can be missed, although after feedback they come out and hit you...but that's no consolation if you've just bet on the wrong horse. :-)

In the past I have had opportunities to try ARVing US ball-games but (sorry guys :-)), those sports leave me stone cold, and I just can't motivate myself off the floor.  Horse-racing however I do find interesting, but what put me off when I had a quick look at the ARV site was not being able to bet because they were US races. You say that Betfair is a UK site and covers US horse-racing (? ) I haven't looked at that possibility, I will check it out.

I would definitely be interested in a UK time webinar Loraine. I just can't stay awake long enough for the US timezone ones. I tried Lyn Buchanan's weekly CRV web meetings, but found it too hard going when they started about 2am here in the UK.  I would be available most evenings and weekends so should be able to fit in with plans for a GMT webinar.

Thanks for the info Loraine,  Cheesy

"Associations can sometimes be so oblique that they can be missed"

I agree  - but I'm not talking about my failing to spot anything as subtle as associations - I mean directly drawing or naming the actual target but (apparently inexplicably) not noticing during judging. (To quote Marty, on the subject of my poor judging, "It is difficult, since she seems to see the world in RV mode most of the time" For this reason and at Marty's suggestion, I'm now aiming to do do my sessions soon enough for others to judge them too)

LOL yeah, they're all just balls to me too!  But, the viewings the same regardless, so I did particpate in the PRECOG10 Super Bowl ARV at the new year, backed my pick in the playoff stage, and will hopefully remember to bet at the final this weekend.

Good, good, good! The more the merrier and the greater the chances of producing a group prediction.

Btw, I hope people aren't put off joining by my comments about my failings. There are several participants with much better results than mine and it's great fun learning by ARVing events within a supportive, friendly group of viewers.
